The Stürtz Group as part of Stürtz Holding GmbH, headquartered in Neustadt (Wied), acquires Stuga Machinery Limited, a market-leading manufacturer of PVC sawing and machining centers for the window and door industry in Great Britain and Ireland.

In the course of comprehensive growth strategies, Stürtz is relying on an established specialist with the acquisition of Stuga Machinery: Since the 1970s, Stuga has been a leader in the market, specializing in the field of customer-oriented products for improving production processes as well as in a comprehensive after-sales service program. Stürtz brings to the partnership its complete product range consisting of welding, cleaning, logistics and assembly systems. This will provide window manufacturers in the UK and Ireland with a strong partner for machinery and turnkey solutions.

To date, Stuga employs around 40 people at its manufacturing facility in the East of England and has service engineers throughout the UK. Following integration into the Stürtz Group, the established Stuga Machinery brand name is to be retained, with all Stuga directors and staff continuing to run the business under the new ownership and continue to work from the Great Yarmouth site.  Across the Channel, the aim is to benefit from operational and technological synergies to significantly increase added value for customers.

Steve Haines, Sales Director and Gareth Green, Technical Director of Stuga, commented: We are excited to begin the next phase of the Stuga story with such an established and technologically advanced partner as Stürtz. We look forward to working with Stürtz to grow the business, provide additional benefits to our customers and open up new prospects for our employees.
