The BOARD machining centre with 3 axis controlled by the numerical control, featured by an automatic tool changing device, has been designed to drill and mill steel, aluminium and light alloy plated panels. The machine is available in different sizes to meet the customer’s specific needs and it enables to process the upper side of the panel. The machine illustrated hereafter has been designed with a 3000x1500 mm effective working space. The structure is made up of electro welded and normalized steel, in which the roller ricirculating guides are fixed to enable the mobile carriage and the strong NC-managed automatic positioning piece blocking clamp groups to slide. The electro spindle working unit triggers a 22 kW power up to 15.000 r.p.m. and is equipped with a cone connection featured by a HSK A63 integrated quick connection.
The machine is equipped with No. 1 piece zero stop reference with pneumatic transfer.
The tool stock room, easily accessible and located on the base, is featured by 10 stations. The control panel is mobile and equipped with a 15” colour TFT touch screen monitor, a SSD 80 GB Hard Disk and 2 USB ports to easily import data; it is featured by all the operative controls needed to correctly manage the unit, besides the control, start and emergency pushbuttons. The programme management is carried out via a Windows XP interface and an ITALSOFT CAD-CAM 3D programming software.
